Welcome to Chloey Turner Wellness!

Welcome Irish Dancers to Your Wellness Academy

While physical fitness is seen to be at the forefront of what makes a great dancer and something that I, myself would have very much focused on over the years, I have come to realise that being physically fit is just one piece of a much bigger pie. The From Head to Toe Academy has been created with the intention of enabling dancers to reach their full potential in both dance and life, by encouraging a more integrated, holistic approach to their well-being.

By consistently practicing the tools shared in your membership I can confidently say that it has had a genuine and quite profound affect on my life, which has led me to become extremely passionate about sharing it with others.

Chloey Turner

Yoga, movement, mindset
For the past 12 years, I have toured the world as a principal dancer in the Grammy award winning show, Riverdance. I was born in the U.K. and began Irish dancing when I was only eight years old.
I’m a fully qualified personal trainer and yoga teacher and am passionate about working with young dancers in order to help build resilience of their mind, body and souls. For most of my life I kept my often crippling anxiety and depression a secret. My father became my confidant from a young age until he passed away suddenly in my twenties. I then continued to keep my panic attacks and long bouts of depression to myself until it became impossible to cope on my own. I now speak about the highs and lows to date, share the steps I took towards getting better and the tools I continues to use daily to keep a healthy, happy mind and body. I feel blessed to be in the position to be able to give back and help you on your journey towards becoming your best self. To read more about Chloey, click here.

Frances Dunne

Strength and Conditioning
Frances specialises in helping dancers harness the power of connecting brain and body. Through sensory and nervous system work, movement patterning, and adaptive conditioning methods; she helps dancers understand how to overcome their challenges, and optimise their performance both athletically and technically. Also a current lead dancer in Michael Flatley’s Lord of the Dance, she hopes to educate, enlighten and empower dancers in their journey. To equip them with skills and attributes that transfer to all areas of life, and help them understand how to achieve any goal they set their mind to.

Dr Lucie Clements

The Dance Psychologist
Dr Lucie Clements is a Senior Lecturer in Psychology at the University of Chichester and a Chartered Psychologist. While completing her PhD Lucie began working freelance to deliver workshops and consultancy for dance students and schools, and now runs a business as dance psychologist along her academic position, supporting dancers across the world, including India, Hong Kong, and the USA. Lucie has published in journals such as Psychology of Aesthetics, Creativity and the Arts and Journal of Sports, Exercise and Performance Psychology. Her research interests are diverse within psychology, but she is particularly interested in the interplay between the environment and the individual in developing a rounded healthy dancer, not just a technically "perfect" performer.

Dr Meghan Brown

Nutrition for Dancers
Dr Meghan Brown is a Lecturer in Sport and Exercise Nutrition, with particular expertise in Dance Nutrition. She completed her PhD in the area and continues to research in a range of topics to advance our understanding of how nutrition can support both health and performance.
