Summer Yoga. Core & Clicks class.

This class will be a great one to keep coming back to, for those that wish to improve your strength and flexibility for front clicks. If you’ve completed the clicks, shoots and splits program or the 14 day journey to splits practice, you’ll understand that certain key muscle groups are important to think of when mastering stronger, sharper clicks, this includes: Abdominal strength, upper back strength, hip flexor flexibility, hamstring flexibility and strong glutes.

Mobility month bonus class. Spinal flow.

Let’s take a seat.. And bring awareness to our spine today. Spinal mobility is super important, yet how often do we think about it? Some of the benefits of increasing spine mobility, especially in the thoracic spine (upper back)

  • Better range of motion throughout the upper body
  • A less-rounded upper back
  • Improves lung capacity, enabling us to breathe easier

Mobility month bonus class. HIPS!

Possibly one of my favourite passive & active sequences for those hips I’ve done for you 😉 I hope you enjoy it – I think it’ll be one you’ll keep coming back to. Literally working all areas and actions of the hips.

Chloey x

Sunday Journal & Full body stretch. May 15th 2022.

Ohhhhh I enjoyed connecting with some of you live and this newly created sequence. I hope it’s good to you too. Please explore the journal prompts given today as I share with you the impact the practice has had on my life over the last 10 years. Enjoy slowing down guys x

Mobility challenge. Week 3. Activation – Lower trapezius.

We focus on activating the lower traps to help stabilise the shoulder blades during overhead movements. When our lower traps are weak our upper trapezius muscles turn on and engage more often than they should. Your upper trapezius (upper trap) is the muscle that helps elevate and upwardly rotate the scapula and extend the neck. When the upper trap has no support from the mid or low trapezius fibers it can become overworked and therefore very tight, affecting our posture for dance.
